1976 Honda CR

Description

This is a decent example of a
1976 CR250 Elsinore
. The motor has great compression. It usually starts in 1-2 kick and runs good. Hard to come across this model with original fenders and tank paint. If this is a bike you have been looking for and don't have all the cash on hand I am open to a multi part payment set up but we must discuss prior to purchase. The good:
Tank is original paint. Also side plates are original paint and not cracked
Seat is in nice shape
Motor has great compression and runs well
Pipe - decent shape, does have a dent on the neck where it make the turn into the cylinder and needs repaint (I will try to paint)
Frame has not been welded up
Tires are like new
Handlebars have been powder coated and there are new perc's, perch covers, levers
New Mikuni carb
Kickstarter locks into place
The Bad:
Previous owner painted the frame and its not great
small ding in tank and some scratches
paint wear on side plates
Scratches in the original front & rear fenders.
Corrosion on spokes

SHIPPING
:
buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping. If you do not have a shipper I can recommend one I have been using for the past 12 years. They alternate an east / west coast to coast trip every three weeks and a north / south trip in between. Once the bike is paid for I can hold longer if needed until the shipper can get it. I want this to be a stress free transaction for the new owner.
